Visualizations
Flowing Solutions employs multiple visualization techniques including 3-d renderings, photo simulations, animated still photo compilations and, animated renderings. We develop these products in-house to help owners and regulators understand complex problems and potential solutions, as well as to analyze options. We focus on simplicity and concept demonstration.
Hood River Delta
After a large flood event on the Hood River we analyzed the situation for the Port of Hood River to determine opportunities and liabilities. Work included development of a 3-D model, development of color keyed movie demonstration how the delta would be impacted by raising and lowering of the Bonneville dam pool.
Historic Photo Animations
We regularly utilize historic air photos of project zones to review geomorphology, historic river behavior and to help identify causes of problems. By combining multiple photos, scaling and registering and morphing them together we can create a moving animated video that is a powerful analytical tool.
